Game 7 is Warriors’ moment of truth
Curry’s lay-up with 14.3 seconds to play put the Warriors up by five, the Thunder turned it over again, and the Warriors were in the clear.

The Thunder better hope Durant does figure things out before Monday’s winner-take-all game.
Given that stat, it’s easy to see why the Warriors sharpshooter felt he could’ve done more, despite the fact he did something no other player has ever accomplished.
Now the general feeling among Warriors and Thunder is simple: “win or home”. With 2 1/2 minutes to go, Golden State trailed 77-75, but Oklahoma City went on a 6-0 run to close the period.
“We all really, really didn’t want this to be our last game”, Thompson said.
The difference in the game proved to be from the 3-point-line, where Thompson made 11-of-18 triples and Golden State as a team made an astounding 21-of-44 from downtown.
“They switched everything and kind of closed the game up, and we missed some shots and they got hot from the 3”, Durant said. Being 8-1 at home during the playoffs compared to a lousy 3-4 on the road, home court advantage will play a huge role for the Warriors in this Game 7.
The Splash Brothers are bringing the Warriors home for a Game 7. Curry then hit two 3s, the second of which tied the game 99-99 with 2:47 to play.
As for the Thunder, Kevin Durant led the team with 29 points while Russell Westbrook added 28 points with nine rebounds and 11 assists, but it was a rough shooting night as Durant and Westbrook combined to shoot just 20 of 58 from the field.
“It will be the hardest game of our lives”, maintained Green, echoing what Curry had said about Game 6.
The Thunder, who blew a number of fourth-quarter leads during the regular season but had been better in the playoffs, fell apart in the final minutes after Golden State had finally gone ahead for good. “Everybody sort of approaches it differently, I think, according to your own personality”.
The 15 points were the result of five 3-pointers, including three by Curry, who had made only two the entire first half. The Warriors play as a team and won’t force shots.
TNT’s coverage of the game delivered a 7.9 household overnight rating, the highest-rated National Basketball Association game this season and TNT’s highest overnight rating all-time for a conference finals Game 6.

Golden State hardly considers this a gimmee just because the team is playing at deafening Oracle Arena, where the Warriors have lost just three times this season.
