The level of the river is expected to stay above major flood conditions into the weekend.

The next big storm system is expected to hit east Texas on Thursday and Friday.
Heavy rain and thunderstorms in Texas have left four people dead and two others missing as authorities brace for the Brazos River to crest mid-Tuesday.
In Rosenberg, Texas, the rising water carried water moccasin snakes, ants and debris into neighborhoods of houses and businesses.
Days of flooding in southeastern Texas have reportedly killed at least six people – and more rain is in the forecast.
The Brazos River Authority said every single one of the 11 reservoirs fed by the swollen river are already 95% to 100% full. Evacuations were ordered over the past few days in areas spanning several counties, the website said. The National Weather Service reported the Brazos hitting 54.16 feet at Richmond, Texas, late on Tuesday, nearly 4 feet above the flood record set in 1994.
Dozens of rivers were in flood stage across the central and southern Plains as of Tuesday, the weather service said. “What are you going to do?” said Amy Kagy of Richmond, who came to the facility off Highway 90 in Richmond to pick up her father’s art work for safe keeping”. In suburban Houston’s Fort Bend County, the Brazos River surpassed 54 feet on Tuesday night, topping a 1994 record by about four feet.
It was unclear late on Sunday whether a body found in Travis County near Austin was one of the two people still missing in Texas. This area could see up two more inches of rain between now and Friday. Another shot shows the waters spilling over barriers onto a roadway, while several other images show entire neighborhood streets and the homes that line them flooded.
In Simonton, Texas, in Fort Bend County, officials provided transportation to help residents leave their homes as well as security to prevent looting. “We have to keep an eye on water that’s coming through our bayou system”, said Francisco Sanchez, a spokesman for the Office of Emergency Management in Harris County.
Bonnie dropped about 8 inches of rain in southern SC on Sunday, closing the southbound lanes of Interstate 95 about 20 miles north of the Georgia state line for about 16 hours.
