Mark Cuban: Donald Trump would be a ‘puppet president’
The brash business mogul and owner of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks said that Trump’s lack of transparency makes it particularly hard to determine what the presumptive Republican presidential nominee is really worth.

“It’s not even close, I do [have more money]”, Cuban said.
The billionaire investor told WABC’s Bernie and Sid that he went over Trump’s FEC filings and seemed impressed by his real estate prowess, but can’t tell how much money it’s made him.
“I’m not quite sure that too many people actually believe that Mr. Trump isn’t a billionaire, considering he does have over 500 entities he’s been operating this whole time”.
“So we know without any question that, as of May 27, Donald doesn’t have more than $165 million in cash and securities and bonds”, Cuban said.
He said that Trump was good at putting his name on properties and licensing his name on hotels, although he added that Trump’s lack of transparency makes it hard to tell how much he’s been able to profit from those deals.
“It’s not like Trump Steaks were gonna make him $100 million”, he said. And you know, I asked him, ‘What the hell are you doing?
“He just doesn’t have that ability to say “no” if someone is going to write him a check”, Cuban said about Trump’s willingness to put his name on anything.
“I think he’s trying to do what he thinks is the right thing right now”.
Mark Cuban, being the person he is, let ESPN in on a little mystery.
Mark Cuban raked Donald Trump over the coals in a recent interview, questioning everything from his business acumen to his billionaire status.
“You can’t lie about cash, stocks, and bond values”, he said.
