“Find your phone” is one of the three new features Google is adding to the My Account service. If you already have Google Maps installed, once you agree to beta test Maps, you will shortly receive an update that brings you the testing version of the app (version 9.27).

In coming weeks, a shortcut to personal account information will appear at the top of Google’s search results whenever logged-in users enter their own names in the query box.
Of course, besides apps, Android device storage is also consumed by video, photos, media files, and cached data from apps and Chrome.
Google’s larger solution to the problem of hefty, slow-to-load apps, more recently, has been to cut them up into tinier pieces to speed up their installation and launch.
Apparently the feature doesn’t include other space saving suggestions such as uploading files to Google Drive, Photos, or Play Music.

Google’s phone location feature isn’t capable of locking an iPhone or remotely erasing it unlike Apple’s Find my iPhone.
