SunOpta announced its recall in May after a spot check indicated some of its sunflower seeds could be contaminated with listeria.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency lists several new products that have been recalled because of concerns about the sunflower seeds in them.

As of June 2, there have not been any reports of illnesses linked to the product, according to authorities.

SunOpta expanded its initial recall on May 18 and then again Wednesday. Symptoms include high fever, severe headaches, neck stiffness, nausea, confusion, and convulsions. All three packaged items under this recall were sold throughout the United States. Clif Bar is asking anyone who purchased the products to throw them away.

Retailers and wholesale customers should check their inventories and shelves to confirm that none of the recalled products are present or available for purchase by consumers or in warehouse inventories.

Consumers are urged to destroy any potentially affected product and contact Atkins Nutritionals, Inc.
