Trump praises ‘my African American’ supporter at rally
Trump, now the presumptive Republican presidential nominee for the November 8 election, canceled a rally in Chicago in March after clashes broke out between his supporters and protesters.

Most Americans now, regardless of party, are just interested in winning; or, more specifically, keeping the other party from winning.
Mr Ryan’s support will make for a much smoother Republican convention next month for both Mr Trump and the Speaker. “It’s also become clear to me through my conversations that Donald Trump is somebody I know is comfortable with these principles and general policies”. He noted the U.S. Supreme Court vacancy and said “critical things need to get done in the next four years or else these problems in our country are going to get out of control”.
Ryan insists he made his decision with eyes wide open.
The latest violence followed Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton’s scorching critique of Trump in a speech on Thursday in which she derided the real estate developer as a unsafe man with an angry, fearful world view. “I’m comfortable that he will be a better president than Hillary Clinton”.
Trump attributed any violence at his rallies to “thug” protesters and said that he always cautions his fans to behave appropriately. “I had friends wishing I would”, Ryan said from his congressional office just down the hill from where he lives in the small Wisconsin city where he grew up.
Previously, Ryan said he was “not ready” to back Trump, but reversed course writing in an editorial that “on the issues that make up (the Republican) agenda, we have more common ground than disagreement”.
Some GOP leaders have vowed not to support Trump, including 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, who tapped Ryan as his running mate. But Ryan, of course, is now on record supporting that same candidate.
In contrast, Trump has repeatedly promised not to touch Medicare and Social Security, echoing a position more commonly adopted by Democrats.
Trump again argued Friday in an interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper that the judge is inherently biased against him because of the presumptive GOP nominee’s plan to build a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.

“We obviously have a different kind of style and tone. And it is clear that is far more likely to happen under a Trump presidency than a Clinton presidency”. “He’s not going to be able to fire Nancy Pelosi”, King told the AP on Friday.
