We should begin to hear more about Sony’s Xperia Z5 smartphones later in the year, especially once we get to CES 2016 and MWC 2016.

The Xperia M5 is much more forgettable than the C5 Ultra. But now, a very detailed image of the same handset has apparently been leaked by São Paulo, Brazil, police. Also shown in the user manual guide images is the inclusion of a microSD card slot and NFC. The battery capacity is 2930 mAh, up from 2600 mAh in the C4, and is slated to last up to 2 days on a single charge using Sony’s STAMINA power management mode. The M5 kind of resembles the Xperia Z3+, and will be dust- and water-resistant (IP68-certified).

It has been speculated that Sony’s recent tweets might have something to do with a new product announcement. “With a possibility of a 5.5” 1080p bezel-free display, it looks like another promising smartphone will be released by the brand. Along with MediaTek’s Helio X10 processor which is clocked at 2GHz octa-core processor. It is said to feature a 5-inch 1080p IPS display, 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable storage. Also rumoured is a Sony IMX230 camera sensor, which is already present in the newly launched Motorola Moto X Style/Pure Edition. This one is expected to retail for around the equivalent of $343-$359. Reportedly, the new smartphone comes with 13 MP rear and front cameras, both offering LED flashes. Which is pretty aggressive for these specs.
