Veteran actress to step into Valerie Harper’s role in play

Valerie Harper is setting the record straight about her heath-and she’s cracking jokes!

Harper was diagnosed with lung cancer in 2009. Harper said this is not true, and released her own statement, saying “As always, thank you for your awesome support”.

‘I am confronting these hurdles with my usual enthusiasm and love of life.’.

Beloved, comedian actress has taken to Fb to shoot down media stories claiming she is in a coma after she collapsed at a theater in Maine this week.

Bradford Kenney, executive artistic director, says playhouse officials and audiences are happy to hear she’s on the mend.

She recently told People, “I’m ready”. According to the director, Valerie wanted everyone to know that once she got some fluids and rest her, she would be back to normal and performing again. “She is now enjoying her family’s company while resting at an undisclosed location”, the statement read.

Harper is best known for her role as Rhoda on the 1970s sitcom The Mary Tyler Moore Show. She has also guest starred in Friends, as Joey’s mother.
