Hillary Clinton’s speech in San Diego on Thursday lived up to its billing as a spirited frontal assault on presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump.

She talked about his “bizarre rants, personal fueds, and outright lies”. “Just like being interviewed on the same episode of “60 Minutes” as Putin was, is not the same thing as actually dealing with Putin”, she mocked Trump.

Clinton is set to unleash a major foreign policy attack on Donald Trump at her Thursday morning speech at The Prado in Balboa Park. While his supporters have repeatedly said they like his tough talk, Mrs Clinton is betting that the broader USA electorate will not. “We can be greater still”.
