Hillary Clinton hopes to clinch Democratic nomination
But Clinton made her point – that she’s ready to do battle with the most unorthodox of general election opponents in modern history. New Jersey will likely deliver the prize, pushing her over the 2,383-delegate threshold and all but ensuring her ascendancy to the dais in Philadelphia come July.

Hillary Clinton gave Donald Trump a beat down in her San Diego speech Thursday, but may find herself beat by Bernie Sanders in Tuesday’s California primary.
“If all things are expect to occur as I hope they will, by Tuesday, I will have captured the Democratic nomination for president”, Clinton said in Westminster.
They are controversial because, unlike most other delegates, super-delegates are not bound by the results of states primaries or caucuses and may vote for their presidential candidate of choice.
Trump is already the presumptive Republican nominee, while Clinton has begun talking as if she is the Democratic flag bearer.
But Clinton is also campaigning hard in California to snatch victory from Sanders – and take his last remaining argument for staying in the presidential race off the table. She was obviously alluding to her willingness to use nuclear weapons to destroy Iran, yet this is the same person who says that Donald Trump should not be let anywhere near the nuclear keys to America’s arsenal.
Still, Clinton supporters like Walter Guzman, 44, of Oxnard, said it was time for her to turn to Trump, saying “she needs to stop concentrating on Bernie and start concentrating on Trump“.
Why can’t Clinton and Sanders just sit down and work out a Democratic Party platform adjusted for these new realities?
To date, former Secretary of State Clinton has spent considerably less time on this kind of entertainment or travel.
Of course, one wonders why there is such angst about California if Clinton is likely to clinch the nomination.
“Judge Curiel is just as much of an American as I am and just as much of an American as Donald Trump is”, Clinton said.
He was joined in his criticism of the superdelegate process on Saturday by fellow progressive stalwart Elizabeth Warren, who said at the Massachusetts Democratic State Convention that she “doesn’t believe in superdelegates” – even though as a senator, she is one. “This isn’t ‘Celebrity Apprentice.’ I guess I have a fundamental faith that the American people are going to be able to sort this out”.
She lambasted his “bragging” approach to foreign policy based on a string of “nasty tweets” and accused him of harboring a “bizarre” affinity for leaders like Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un.
“If we have a large turnout, we’re going to win”, Sanders told the crowd, who roared back: “Bernie!”
Harvey said she thinks Sanders still can capture the Democratic nomination. I know Anthony Weiner.

And most say Trump is capable of standing up to special interests, at 52 percent – more so than for Clinton, at 44 percent, Gallup found. “I think it’s important for people from all across this state, all across this country to hear from presidential candidates and you don’t have to live in major city to do so”.
