Brock Lesnar in talks to make return at UFC 200
Now as for what really happened with Brock Lesnar reappearing on the UFC website, Jeremy Botter has an idea based on his sources.

Lesnar remains under contract with WWE, so if he does indeed return to fight at UFC 200, you can expect plenty of references to WWE, as this would be an ideal bit of cross-promotion for both companies. But, he said publicly at the time that he would never return to MMA, that the window was closed; today’s reports seems to bring that into question. The Beast Incarnate, as his manager Paul Heyman, nicknamed him, hasn’t been on television since WrestleMania 32.
The 38-year-old Lesnar has not stepped inside the Octagon since suffering a first round TKO to current number one contender Alistair Overeem at UFC 141 in December 2001.
Lesnar battled diverticulitis at the time but has flirted with the idea of a return many times since.

Lesnar famously headlined the legendary UFC 100 PPV against fellow former heavyweight champion Frank Mir, battering his bitter rival en route to his first title defense and avenging his loss to Mir in the first fight of his UFC career in early 2008. This event still stands as the highest selling pay-per-view in MMA history. The name value and brand alone would make UFC 200 a must-watch for not only MMA fans, but pro wrestling fans as well. He was then quickly deleted. ESPN’s Brett Okamoto asked Dana White about it and he had a totally reasonable spin. With Lesnar not in the creative plans now, WWE doesn’t have much to lose by lending Lesnar to UFC. “He had a good run, now he’s with the WWE”, White said. He may have spoken too soon.
