Nainggolan confirms Chelsea are interested in him
Chelsea are looking for cover in the defensive positions, with John Terry likely to leave the club at the end of next season after recently signing a new one-year deal with the Blues. “But since there’s no contract, there’s no transfer”. It would be very hard to leave Italy after 11 years, I am very happy at Roma.

“There has been contact between the two clubs, but as long as there is no agreement reached, I’ll stay well out of it”.
Nainggolan is now preparing for the UEFA Euro 2016 tournament with Belgium.
The 28-year-old signed for Roma from Cagliari in 2014 and has made 69 appearances so far, netting 11 times in the process. The Belgian is a tenacious tackler and superb distributor in midfield, sharing a lot of similarities with former Juventus star and current Bayern Munich midfielder Arturo Vidal.
The Evening Standard claim that Roma would demand £31m to sell Nainggolan this summer while Chelsea are reportedly willing to offer the midfielder a lucrative five-year deal to lure him to Stamford Bridge. Conte has always built his teams around energetic midfielders who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty, and Nainggolan fits that role like a glove.
