Hillary Clinton’s brother-in-law, Roger Clinton, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, Redondo Beach police said. He was booked for driving under the influence, and we’re told he refused blood alcohol testing.

Roger Clinton is Bills half-brother, and has a well- documented history of trouble with substance abuse and causing political trouble for his famous sibling, the report said.

Clintons arrest occurred two days ahead of the California primary election in the 2016 presidential race. A Golden State loss would deal a major blow to her campaign, although Clinton needs less than 30 delegates to win the Democratic nomination. He was famously pardoned of a 1985 cocaine offense on his half-brother’s final day in office in 2001.

Roger, 59, was arrested around 8 p.m.in Redondo Beach near Los Angeles.
