The U.S. Senate primary survey sampled 400 likely Democratic and 400 likely Republican primary voters.

Mason Dixon released a poll on Monday showing Murphy with 31 percent of Florida Democrats followed by Grayson with 23 percent.

North Florida is second in its support for Rubio behind the southwest portion of the state, where 59 percent of voters want to see him run.

Rubio has until June 24 to change his mind about his old Senate seat, but he also plans to leave that job in the past.

The Democratic primary is slightly more defined, though 43 percent of voters remain undecided.

Beruff, who has drawn some criticism for calling Obama an “animal” during a speech last month, had a 9 percent unfavorable rating from likely Republican voters, the highest among any of the GOP candidates.

Rubio shared his support for spending as much money as it takes, for as long as it takes, to stop the virus.

It’s common for Republican and Democratic operatives – and especially candidate’s campaigns – to offer story ideas to political journalists.

More than 40 percent of voters are undecided in the Republican primary – and none of the five top candidates now in the GOP race have hit 20 percent support, according to the poll.

“This is just more baseless attacks by the Republicans who are clearly just trying to help my primary opponent, Alan Grayson”, Murphy said, speaking with reporters in Tallahassee after he filed paperwork to qualify for the 2016 elections. The overall poll of 625 voters had a margin of error of 4 percentage points.
