Manchester United And Adidas Partner Up Again
Adidas designer Inigo Turner – who also happens to be big fan of the Red Devils – said that the club’s past success was the inspiration of the new design.

It means that whilst almost every other Premier League strip is available, Manchester United had not even been able to officially reveal theirs.
Phil Jones was joined by Daley Blind as the Manchester United pair helped to unveil the Red Devils’s new Adidas kit on Friday night.
The new United kit has a retro look to it and has been inspired by the club’s jerseys in the late 1980’s and early 90’s, with a classic v-neck collar and the three-stripe design on the sleeve.
United’s new sponsorship signals the end of their association with Nike after the American company held the right for the past 13 years.
All three kits – home, away and alternate – are inspired by the 1980s designs where Adidas remained the kit manufacturer for United, before being replaced by Umbro in 1992.
Richard Arnold, the Manchester United Group Managing Director, added, “Everyone at United is very proud of the shirt’s classic design, which draws upon the Club’s iconic kits of yesteryear”. When it comes to new Premier League kits, we generally don’t have to have the same worries that we do in, say – college football. Manchester United and adidas have a long and illustrious history in football, both leading the way in innovation and performance.
