Giggs ready for crunch meeting with Man Utd boss Mourinho

Former Chelsea manager Mourinho, sacked in December as the then-champions hovered a point above the relegation zone, was announced as Louis van Gaal’s replacement on Friday.

Jose Mourinho has started masterminding his plans for Man United next season after sharing a photo on Instagram of his managerial workings. And more than that I need the supporters and players to feel that I say that, it’s not just for the sake of saying it.

“Of course he had a few run-ins with the media, and I think a few things could have been done differently”.

In his first interview as United Manager, Mourinho also admitted he was honored by the opportunity to finally manage the club.

“I’m sure he’ll settle in well with the likes of Ryan Giggs, hopefully he’ll stay and support him along with the team”.

The Red Devils have won 20 English league titles, 12 FA Cups, three European Cup/Champions League titles and the World Club Cup.

“Jose is quite simply the best manager in the game today”, United executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward said in a statement.

“He’s a world class manager, he has won trophies in a lot of countries and he has worked with the best players and with the best teams in the world”, McNair said.

Mourinho is tasked with returning United to the dominant force of the Premier League that they once were, although he will first need to qualify for the Champions League after United failed to finish inside the top four this season, condemning the Portuguese to a Europa League campaign next term.

Mourinho’s excitement to be taking over a club with a “mystique and a romance” is clear, as is his desire to revive United’s ailing fortunes. “I only go to war with those I trust”, is another phrase the United players can expect to hear. “Not many people was happy at Real Madrid”.

Will Jose Mourinho be a success at Manchester United?

In all honesty, I would rather have Conte as manager than Mourinho.

And Yorke is confident the 34-year-old would be a good fit at Old Trafford. “It’s United’s biggest ever signing”.

“It shows real aspiration on the part of United and it’s incredibly exciting to have him back in the Premier League”.
