Lawyers for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump asked the California federal judge he attacked last week as biased based on his Mexican heritage to end the Trump University fraud class action now scheduled to go on trial in November.

Taking aim at Trump’s penchant for personal insults, Vela said Trump should not “dismiss” him as “just another Mexican”, noting that his great-grandfather came to the U.S.in 1857 – well before Trump’s ancestors arrived in the U.S. “But I say he’s got bias”. I want to build a wall. “I’m going to build a wall”. “I’m doing very well with the Latinos, with the Hispanics, with the Mexicans – I’m doing very well with them, in my opinion”. “That would be possible, absolutely”, Trump said.

Trump has been ramping up his attacks on Curiel for months on the campaign trail.

Former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales says he is not defending Donald TrumpDonald TrumpThe Trail 2016: Judging Trump Libertarian nominee: Trump “clearly” a racist Cruz: Trump wrong to attack judge MORE’s controversial remarks about a Hispanic judge a week after publishing an op-ed about the controversy. He was born in IN to Mexican immigrants and served as a federal prosecutor and a state judge in California before he was nominated to the federal bench by President Barack Obama in 2011. “He’s a hater. They ought to look into Judge Curiel”.

“I’m building a wall”.

House Speaker Paul Ryan, just a day after announcing his endorsement of Trump, bashed him on a Wisconsin radio station.

“The Trump campaign is directly opposed to the freedoms of our employees in the United States and around the world and in some cases, such as his proposed ban on worldwide travel for Muslims, would make it impossible for our employees to do their jobs”, BuzzFeed CEO Jonah Peretti wrote to employees.

Case in point: Trump’s recent comments about the Mexican heritage of the judge presiding over a case against his now-defunct Trump University. Chuck Todd talks Michael Fletcher of ESPN’s The Undefeated. “I don’t think it reflects well on the Republican Party”.

Reid also highlighted the latest controversy around Trump stemming from his remarks by Trump that the judge handling a lawsuit against Trump University should recuse himself because of his Mexican heritage. “The answer is, he is giving us very unfair rulings, rulings that people can’t even believe”.

“Public Service Announcement: Saying someone can’t do a specific job because of his or her race is the literal definition of “racism”, he tweeted”.

“I think that’s a very strong policy of vetting these people properly”, Friess said, highlighting the difficulty in identifying risky personnel coming into the country.

Curiel was born in IN, and Trump’s complaint has been criticized by Republican leaders, legal experts, and other commentators.

Trump and the Republican National Committee spent weeks hashing out a money-raising plan after he became the presumptive nominee and stopped funding his White House bid largely with his own fortune. “His description of the judge in terms of his parentage is completely unacceptable”.
