The top 10 candidates based on national polling will gather in Cleveland on Thursday for the first prime time, nationally-televised debate of the campaign. Fox is planning to announce the candidates who will appear in the primetime debate on Tuesday. But there’s an unconventional alternative: lifting up politics by embracing the idea that voters, especially those being hammered by the economy, aren’t dunces and would like for their government and their politicians to take concrete steps to improve their situations.

The voters were surveyed last week, following his remark that fellow Republican John McCain is “not a war hero“, because he was captured.
Valle’s father was killed in Vietnam. The event, sponsored by the Union Leader newspaper, is expected to draw most of the field, although Mr. Trump has said he won’t be among them. “I’m going to stand up for conservatism”. “I have absolutely no doubt”, Trump said. Still, Valle said Trump could win him back. Trump has the highest unfavorability rating at 59 percent. Trump won Michigan’s Reform Party primary with 2,120 votes, defeating an uncommitted slate that got 630 votes.
There are some who won’t make it on stage who many in the GOP would like to see up there. Ted Cruz, Kentucky Sen.
Bobby Jindal, governor of Louisiana, 29-17. Ohio Governor John Kasich closes the top-ten list of candidates with 3% of support.
Former New York Gov. George Pataki was not included in the poll. Her challengers are barely known, not even Sen.
Clinton, 72 percent favorable, 22 percent unfavorable. 4 percent and former Virginia Gov. Jim Gilmore at zero.
Martin O’Malley, former governor of Maryland, 10-13. She’s also become a fierce attack dog against Clinton.
The poll of 250 Latino adults was conducted July 26-30.

A new analysis by the Pew Research Center shows how quickly the partisan balance has flipped in the state. The exchanges were selected to ensure that each region was represented in proportion to its population. Jenkins said support for legalizing pot hardly varied at all when respondents were asked a detailed question about support for it if was taxed and regulated. And yet his rivals for the GOP nod continue to handle him with relative kid-gloves rather than really targeting him as the front-runner. “They are the single most destructive force in public education in America”. “Certainly, no reputable pollster would say that a few tenths of a percentage point is a statistically meaningful difference”. There are 964 registered voters. “It just seems that the economy does better under Democrats than the Republicans”.
