New MacBook Pro Unveil Expected This Month, Shipments In August
However, it is quite hard to predict Apple’s plans for the 13- and 15-inch MacBook Pros because the two computers have a lot of confusing rumors about them circulating.

Apple is according to a “reliable Chinese supplier” announcing a new MacBook Air this month. It’s believed that Apple is set to launch a refreshed lineup. Apple does have an event scheduled later this month where it could make an announcement, so this report does make some sense. The report states that Jarllytec, a notebook hinge maker, started shipping metal injection mold-made (MiM) hinges meant for a 13-inch MacBook to Apple in May.
According to a report from Tech Radar, if the MacBook Air is indeed coming soon, with or without any substantial updates, it is likely going to launch this June 13 during the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC). Apple introduced the MacBook Air in 2008.
The 12-inch MacBook, for example, has a single USB-C port through which it charges.
Apple’s WWDC keynote on June 13th is expected to focus exclusively on software, despite recent rumors that a new MacBook Pro or a 5K Thunderbolt Display could be announced at the event. iOS 10, OS X 10.12, and other big updates for Apple’s other platforms will supposedly get all the stage time.
But what came as a surprise is MacOtakara’s claim that the MacBook Air 2016 will be unveiled too with Apple using the 2016 WWDC as the intro platform. That’s a fact worth noting because it ties in with the supposed release date of these new laptops which is rumored to be Q4 2016.
The new MacBook Pros are expected to replace the traditional function key, with an OLED touch panel and house the Touch ID functionality.

Finally, it’s fitting for this revamped series to be powered by the latest Intel chipset, at least the Skylake version, as well as better graphics performance and storage capacity.
