Clinton nabbed the nomination exactly eight years to the day she conceded the 2008 race to Barack Obama and endorsed him.

“Anyone who supported Bernie Sanders, who thinks we should raise the minimum wage, who thinks that we should have universal healthcare coverage, who thinks that the wealthy have not paid their fair share, would certainly not find that Donald Trump’s views are in line with theirs”, she told ABC News.
Vice President Joe Biden urged patience Wednesday when asked whether Vermont Sen. “She would be, like I am, overwhelmed by this historic moment”, Clinton told Muir at the Brooklyn Navy Yard on Tuesday night.
“I understand the responsibility of carrying the mantle, and I will never, ever let you down”, Trump said. She said, “Trump called a distinguished judge unfit to do his job because he is Mexican, he mocks reporter with disability, calls women pigs, it goes against everything we stand for, we want an America where everyone is treated with respect and their work with values”.
The Hillary Action Fund will be a new joint fundraising effort between the Clinton campaign, the Democratic National Committee and its headquarters fund, Schwerin added. Elizabeth Sager said she’s disappointed in the idea that there may be Sanders supporters who would not otherwise support Clinton.
As the votes were being counted in California, Mr Sanders said: “I am pretty good at arithmetic, and I know that the fight in front of us is a very, very steep fight, but we will continue to fight for every vote and every delegate we can get”.
Bernie Sanders also claimed wins, in North Dakota and Montana.
Many Sanders supporters expressed anger that the AP had used superdelegates in their tally when they declared Clinton victorious Monday. “Sanders has accomplished” in energizing the party and highlighting issues like income inequality and big money in politics, the press secretary said. Going into Tuesday, Clinton already had a wide lead over rival Bernie Sanders in both pledged delegates and the popular vote, but had not expected to – or wanted to – cross that threshold until Tuesday evening.
It was also Sanders who made a decision to release a statement after the ruckus at the Nevada convention that blamed the establishment, not his supporters.

The news came hours after the former secretary of state clinched the Democratic White House nomination on the last major date of the 2016 primary calendar, with six states holding polls.
