Nick Lee Named Freshman All-American

Brady Feigl, James McArthur and Andy Pagnozzi were selected to the Louisville Slugger Freshmen All-American Team, Collegiate Baseball announced Wednesday morning (June 8).

Williams-Sutton is the 14th Freshman All-America selection in school history and second under head coach Cliff Godwin.

This year, the pitcher has also been awarded the Silver Glove Series MVP and was named the American Pitcher of the Week after two wins at Rice and Cincinnati.

Those three are the first to receive freshmen All-American honors since Baseball America recognized center fielder J.B. Woodman in 2014. He had a pair of four-hit games in OVC play (vs. Eastern Kentucky and UT Martin).

Elliott, a Coppell, Texas, native, has been in the Cowboys’ weekend starting rotation all season.

Beck, who was named first-team All-Pac-12, led Stanford starters in ERA (2.48), innings (83.1) and strikeouts (76), and was top 10 in the Pac-12 in each category.

Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns freshman pitcher Nick Lee has been named a freshman All-American by Louisville Slugger/Collegiate Baseball.

The freshman hurler made his first collegiate start versus NCAA Super Regional Cinderella team Boston College on February 20 at Camelback Ranch in Glendale, Ariz. 135 opponent batting average.
