Bill Clinton sasses pro-Sanders protesters at Los Angeles rally
President Obama could officially endorse Hillary ClintonHillary Rodham ClintonSanders camp: Clinton has not secured nomination yet GOP aghast as Trump doubles down State Dept. would need 75 years to compile Clinton emails MORE as early as this week after she secures enough delegates to clinch the Democratic presidential nomination. “I can’t wait for a female president”.

Her rival for the nomination, Bernie Sanders, is not giving up yet.
Hallie Hester-Dahl, a teacher in Sacramento, arrived at the rally around 3:30 p.m., wearing a white T-shirt with an outline of Clinton’s face that she made in 2008.
“They can shout all they want, those are the facts, and she has bent over backwards to be positive in this campaign”, Clinton said as Sanders’ supporters continued to shout.
President Bill Clinton told vocal Bernie Sanders supporters at a campaign rally Sunday in Los Angeles that they would be “toast” on Tuesday.
But although he lags well behind in delegates needed to win the nomination, Sanders has vowed to take the fight to the Democratic National Convention in July.
Puerto Rico’s election came ahead of six primary contests on June 7, in California, Montana, New Jersey, New Mexico, North Dakota and South Dakota.
While the White House hasn’t said the president plans to make an announcement on Wednesday, Mr. Obama is known to be eager to step into the campaign fray against presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump.
And on the same “State of the Union” news show, he criticized donations to the Clinton Foundation, an area of attack he had ruled off limits in an interview with The Sacramento Bee last month.
Hillary Clinton continues to hold on to her lead among Democratic voters nationally, even as tomorrow’s primary contest in California seems to be going down to the wire.
Clinton said he had some facts for the protesters, saying: “they basically just repeat half the time the Republican talking points” and listed the support his wife has gained from progressive groups like the Human Rights Campaign and Planned Parenthood.
It could also help Trump argue that she is a weak candidate.
The AP surveyed all 714 superdelegates repeatedly in the past seven months, and only 95 remain publicly uncommitted. She said Clinton is the best-qualified candidate and she trusts her, despite past mistakes.
While it’s true that there are clear examples of bias against Sanders, as there are with Hillary Clinton and even against Donald Trump, the overall effect can be hard to measure.
At a cafe in Vallejo, awaiting results from Puerto Rico, Clinton was looking past the primary, too.
Yet many Sanders supporters, while liberal leaning, are not Democrats, but independent voters. They are free to change their minds, but super-delegates never have voted against the candidate who has more of the pledged delegates elected in primaries and caucuses. He has got to get out to the states where he won and reach out to the young people.

“Hillary Clinton will not have the requisite number of pledged delegates to win the Democratic nomination at the end of the nominating process on June 14th”. “So it is time to judge Donald Trump by his words and his deeds. They are committed. They have voted for me in great numbers across our country for many reasons, but among those reasons is their belief that having a woman president will make a great statement, a historic statement about what kind of country we are, what we stand for”.
