The Broncos made a contract offer to outside linebacker Von Miller worth $114.5 million over six years that would make Miller the highest-paid nonquarterback in overall value, a source confirmed.

Had Von Miller accepted the deal, it would have made him the highest-paid defensive player in the National Football League as it exceeded Ndamukong Suh’s $114.375 million contract signed past year.

Schefter continued, “Not to say it can’t get done, but it will be very hard for Denver and Von Miller to reach long-term agreement by July 15 deadline”.

“We’ve made real progress over the last couple of days”, Miller told media in Washington, D.C. We now know that Miller’s price tag is higher than what the Broncos expected and it is going to take more guaranteed money as well as higher total figures to lock in the SB MVP.

Though the 9News reports that talks continued past the deadline Wednesday, ESPN is reporting that the sides remain far apart. As an exclusive rights free agent, he is not eligible to receive offers or negotiate with other teams.

Katina Smith was one of 46 nonviolent drug offenders who were pardoned previous year by the president, who said at the time that their sentences served were disproportionate to their crimes.

Last year, receiver Demaryius Thomas received the franchise tag and in 2013, offensive lineman Ryan Clady was slapped with the tag.

Denver’s latest offer to Von Miller would make him a very rich man.

Kubiak said Talib, who was forced to miss the Super Bowl champs’ visit to the White House on Monday, will have to stay in Denver to rehab at the Broncos’ facilities when the rest of his teammates scatter for summer vacation next week.

“It was once-in-a-lifetime just to go there and be in the presence of Barack and the history throughout that whole building”, Trevathan said Tuesday at Halas Hall.

Defensive tackle Marcell Dareus leads all non-quarterbacks with $60 million guaranteed in the six-year, $96.5 million extension he signed with the Bills last year.

The Broncos have the right under the CBA to slap the franchise tag on Miller each year for three consecutive years at $14.129 million this year, $16.955 million in 2017 and $24.4 million for 2018.
