Alan Menken, who won two Academy Awards for his work on 1991’s Beauty and the Beast, is scoring the reboot.

Two studio cleaners, thought to be Eastern European, were suspected of planning to either kidnap or rob the star, but were reportedly overheard discussing their plans by a taxi driver who spoke their language.

It quoted a source as saying the workers were talking in a foreign language, apparently unaware the driver could understand them. The taxi staff reported what had been overheard after a night shoot. The 25-year-old has been filming scenes for Beauty And The Beast at Shepperton Studios in Surrey. While this story is completely false, it’s not the first time the actress received scary threats about her well-being. While filming 2014 biblical epic Noah, an obsessed fan managed to get on set.

In 2011 when Emma was studying in the U.S. and had to be given a full-time bodyguard.

After Watson’s being targeted by those who were in disagreement of her feminist stance, it is certainly necessary to take such allegations seriously and it is commendable that the studio was swift in action and in looking into the matter for the safety of Ms. Watson.
