The Porsche Panamera is long overdue for a complete overhaul, and it is set to get said overhaul pretty soon.

Through observing the teasers, the new Panamera clearly gets a much smaller dose of ugly than the original vehicle, which has the aesthetic aural of a bright red baboon’s ass.

A set of next-gen Porsche Panamera prototypes with very little camouflage have been identified ahead of the design’s main reveal.

Porsche has released the first teaser image of the next-generation Panamera on the internet. The C-pillar underwent a significant change, as it now has been contoured with a sharp and an aggressive rear. The new look is complemented by smaller tail lamps that are connected by a thin light bar.

“A success story began”. A quick glance at this image and it’s easy to just say “yup, that’s the new Panamera”, but closer inspection brings about a “WTF” moment.

So far, not much has been revealed by Porsche about their all-new Panamera.

The 2017 Panamera is expected to be powered by Porsche’s new twin-turbo V8 engine which is expected to produce over 550PS of power and massive peak torque of 770Nm.

Edmunds earlier reported that the new Panamera is built around the Volkswagen’s Group’s so-called MSB large-car modular architecture that is shared across several of the Group’s luxury brands including Audi and Bentley.
