The Cleveland Cavaliers have had some success with the “All In” branding over the last couple seasons, but it looks like there is a new leader in the clubhouse for the Cavs, their marketing department, and their star LeBron James.

“It did something to Michael Jordan”, Jackson said. James, like Jordan before him, did that on Thursday night. But LeBron is not on the best team.

Two rings versus six rings shouldn’t just end the debate.
LeBron James made the play of the game Wednesday night after deflecting a pass by the reigning MVP, Stephen Curry, late in the third quarter of game three of the National Basketball Association finals. And most importantly, LeBron is facing the daunting task of handing his hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, its first championship since 1964, when Hall of Fame NFL runningback Jim Brown led the Browns to a championship – Jordan did not. Whether LeBron can keep it up will determine if he gets one more ring, or if his legacy takes another massive blow. The Heat pulled that game out 98-96, unleashed a 24-point beating to tie the series in Game 4, then survived to win the next two (one of which went to overtime) by a total of four points. It’s reasonable to count them out given that only three teams in league history have rallied from down 2-0.
But the flipside is also true.

He wanted nothing to do with the comparison when it was brought to his attention, but LeBron James did exactly what Phil Jackson said he needed to do in Game 3. When greatness is called on, it’s required, it’s demanded to be delivered.
