Nintendo further outlines E3 2016 plans, drops lovely new Zelda artwork

“To ensure attendees are able to truly experience the freedom of exploration the game offers, The Legend of Zelda for Wii U will be Nintendo’s focus of the show this year, and will be the only playable game in Nintendo’s booth via extended demos”. We always knew Zelda would be there, though only the Wii U version. Some of the most popular games will be up with a discounted price as well as Nintendo members who sign-in will receive special bonus if they purchase selected games during the sale.

Nintendo will also be holding an Anniversary sale on the eShop, in honor of its fifth birthday.

The company will also provide more details on the new Zelda game, which has remained a well-kept secret leading up to the event.

If true, it could be an incredibly quiet rest of 2016 as Nintendo gears up for the NX launch and release, but hopefully the downtime results in a better next generation ahead for Nintendo fans.

Nintendo’s E3 2016 campaigns may not be as ambitious as those of Microsoft and Sony, but the company is seeking to impress gamers by concentrating on “The Legend of Zelda” NX/Wii U, which stands out as one of the most anticipated games of this year.

Nintendo’s North American, Japanese, and European Twitter accounts all have tweets announcing the The Legend of Zelda cross-over online. Nevertheless, the second day will open with “Pokémon Go” developer Q&A session. Furthermore, NPC characters may be fully voice acted, providing the land of Hyrule with a voice it has lacked for literal decades. It confirmed during its fiscal year earnings call that Nintendo NX will not be present at this year’s E3. In the “Miitomo” minigame dubbed “Miitomo Drop”, gamers will be capable of winning “Zelda” clothing options as well as other items, all showing appreciation for “Zelda” fans. Nintendo is holding its dwindling hand of cards very close to its chest, so we’ll be intrigued to see what surprises, if any, it has in store for fans awaiting more news on the platform.
