Adrian Beltre had his third career cycle Monday night, becoming the first major league player since the 1930s to accomplish that feat.

Beltre hit a two-run triple in his first at-bat of the night before following up with a double in the second, a single in the third and a solo home run in the fifth.
Ironically, all three of his cycles have come at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington.
This was the third cycle of Beltre’s career, which puts him in a few insane company.
It was the ninth cycle in Rangers history, and second this season. Brock Holt of the Boston Red Sox did it in June while Beltre’s teammate Shin-Soo Choo did it last month. Beltre went 4 for 5 in the Rangers 12-9 victory over the Houston Astros.
Arizona in 2012 was the last team with two cycles in the same season.
Astros pitcher Scott Kazmir was named American League Pitcher of the Month for July by Major League Baseball on Monday. There was no immediate word on the extent of the man’s injury.
Tom Koehler (8-8) was tagged in the Marlins’ most-lopsided loss of the season.
But tonight Adrian Beltre did something that hadn’t been done in a major league game in over 80 years.
Beltre has captured the Gold Glove and Silver Slugger Awards four times each while making the All-Star Game on four occasions as well. He threw 119 pitches, two shy of his season high.
