More showers and thunderstorms, but slightly cooler
Temperatures will warm quickly to the middle and upper 80s by the afternoon. Cooler air funnels in overnight dropping temperatures to the low 50s for Monday morning.

A warming trend will begin tomorrow as the upper-level ridge shifts eastward. Highs should be into the upper 80s to near 90° on Thursday with low/mid-90s expected Friday.
Winds turn to the east on Thursday, and will be more southerly on Friday.
A dry air mass will remain in place with dew points mixing out each afternoon so rain chances remain low through the remainder of the workweek.

Wednesday: Partly sunny. Slight chance for rain. Showers possible late afternoon or evening. By evening, many should be seeing showers and some of Western New England will see embedded thunderstorms, expected to come and go into the night Saturday night. Best coverage will be after the noon hour both days… helping to limit sunshine and afternoon highs. An isolated to scattered rain chance will be in place early next week. High low-mid 70’s.
