After that a bystander on the scene, 18-year-old Breanna Moseley, jumped into action performing CPR to resuscitate the child.

In a release by police, the preliminary investigation has revealed that a 3-year-old child was in the pool, struggled to stay above water and subsequently went completely underwater.

Video shows that two minutes later, the victim’s 7-year-old cousin noticed the toddler underwater and pulled him from the pool, according to the police. “She was just limp and not moving”, says Breanna Moseley, 18, who was at the pool with her family.

The incident occurred at the Timber Trace Apartments in Titusville Wednesday.

“Honestly, I just wanted to cry”. I wanted to break down.

The Department of Children and Families was notified, as the victim was at the pool without adult supervision.

“I did mouth-to-mouth for a minute, did some light chest compressions”.

“I saw that she wasn’t breathing, so first instinct was to mouth-to-mouth and just give her air”, Moseley told WESH-2 News. “I sat her up and held her and kept her warm”.

The victim’s mother said the child is OK and out of the hospital.
