Elizabeth Warren Endorses Hillary Clinton, Calls Trump “Thin-Skinned Wannabe Tyrant”

But the day ended with Clinton securing the endorsement of Obama and Elizabeth Warren, the senator from MA and a leader of the progressive ranks of the Democratic Party.

Over the past weeks, Warren’s attacks on Trump invited speculation that she wanted to be on Clinton’s short list of potential veep picks, and on Thursday, she added fuel to the fire. “It would be a win for the Democratic Party in its fight against Trump”.

Hillary Clinton has affirmed her credentials as a savvy social media user and a sassy political opponent by attacking one of Donald Trump’s most prized possessions – his Twitter account.

Obama’s statement was not a big surprise, but the timing was sooner than many expected, especially as Vice President Joe Biden and others said it was appropriate to give Sanders time to adjust to the reality that he would not be the party’s nominee.

Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus was one of the few who came to his defense, chiming in to Clinton “If anyone knows how to use a delete key, it’s you”.

“This [Mr Sanders’ campaign] has inspired millions of citizens – a style of campaign we’ve never seen before winning 22 states, extraordinary number of caucuses”, he added.

Bernie Sanders has said he will continue to campaign in Washington DC, leading up to the capital city’s primary next week – but expect most Democrats to close ranks quickly.

Hillary Clinton continued outlining her case against Donald Trump on Friday, charging he “has no idea what’s best for women” during a speech to a key progressive group. The two candidates’ unfavorable ratings have a similar margin, with 56 percent of voters having a strong or somewhat unfavorable view of Clinton, and 58 percent having a strong or somewhat unfavorable opinion of Trump. “So I’d say, don’t be a victim of this propaganda campaign, which is being waged by people who exercise selective amnesia”.

Clinton finally clinched the nomination just days ago, prompting Obama to offer his backing. Democratic Senator Elizabeth Warren also endorsed Clinton.

Despite Trump’s public denial that his comment wasn’t racist at all, he knows it was blatantly racist, and he used racist slur on objective.

President Obama endorsed Hillary Clinton’s candidacy on Thursday, shortly after meeting with Bernie Sanders at the White House.

“What’s happened in that party culminating in this current nomination, I think is not actually good for the country as a whole”.

Mr Obama praised Mr Sanders for an “incredible campaign” and for drawing young people into the political process.

Warren told MSNBC television Thursday that she has not been asked to a be a vice presidential candidate; nor has she been vetted.

“I’m with her. I’m fired up and I can not wait to get out there and campaign with Hillary”, Obama said.
