Both the Moto G4 and Moto G4 appear to be solid upgrades over last year’s models, and they won’t break the bank.
Between the models – Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus – there are slight RAM differences depending on the storage option the consumer is going for, and this difference is quite customary with Android phones. On the software side, it ships with Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. Regarding memory, the Moto G Plus comes in two variants: 2GB RAM/16GB storage and 3GB RAM/32GB storage. Later, a more powerful version of the phone , Moto G3 Turbo, was also launched. At the back there is a 16MP camera with a fast auto-focus system and F/2.2 aperture and an LED flash and a front 5MP camera to take selfies. The new Moto G smartphones are now much bigger, especially when you compare them to the first Moto G released in 2013, which had a 4.5-inch display. It comes in 32GB/64GB in-built storage options, which can be expanded upto 128GB using MicroSD card.
What captured the attention of many in the tech community is the camera specs of the Moto G4 Plus.
For Moto G4 fans, the company promised to unveil details for it soon. Both the phones have 5-megapixel selfie cameras that are equipped with 84 degrees’ wide-angle lens. Additionally, there is dual-SIM support and TurboPower charging technology to deliver up to six hours of backup with just 15 minutes of charge. Both the models will ship with 2GB of RAM, while power users can opt for a 3GB/32GB variant of Moto G4 Plus.
The new Moto G (2016) will be available in the United Kingdom from early June for the SIM-free price of £169, and the new Moto G Plus will launch exclusively at Amazon later in the same month for £199.
