18-year-old woman reported missing in Larimer County

Ashley Marie Doolittle, of Berthoud, was reported missing at 7:55 p.m. Thursday. Sheriff’s officials did not identify the woman who was found dead.

“It was reported that Tanner was upset and distraught over the recent breakup.” the release stated.

Larimer County Sheriff’s Office investigators asked for the public’s help Friday morning in locating 18-year-olds Ashley Doolittle and her ex-boyfriend Tanner Flores. Her Facebook page is filled with pictures of her on horses, in elaborate rodeo outfits at formal dances with Flores.

According to the Denver Post, Doolittle was enrolled as an agricultural business major at Colorado State University.

Her family says she should have returned home at 7:30 p.m. Family members found her unoccupied vehicle in the area of Lon Hagler Reservoir. Investigators determined that Tanner has been missing since 3:30 pm on June 9, 2016.

At approximately 8 a.m., investigators received information regarding a sighting of Flores’ 1999 Dodge truck near the town of Collbran in unincorporated Mesa County. They also recovered the deceased body of a young adult female and took Flores into custody, according to the release.
