The plethora of moves continue for the free-falling Chicago White Sox.
For Jimmy Rollins, the end is nigh following his upcoming inevitable release from the Chicago White Sox.
Down on the farm, Anderson has been hitting quite well with triple-A Charlotte. “Just get up there and hit, be clear-minded about it”.
After getting off to a slow start in April, Anderson is now hitting.304/.325/.409 with four home runs and 11 stolen bases in 55 games for Charlotte. However, the White Sox had one more move to make. I don’t really work on hitting a lot…. “I think the way he’s played”. He and Tyler Saladino would most likely split time at short and the hottest bat would stay in the line up more often.
It’s not every day that a starting shortstop on a contending teams finds himself designated for assignment.
The White Sox were able to pull out a 3-1 victory over the Washington Nationals on Thursday night.
Not exactly the way you want to see one of the Phillies’ all-time greats go out.
He insisted this is simply the next step in the development of a young player who was sizzling in the minors.
Anderson, who will wear uniform No. 12, has no major-league experience. Teammate J.B. Shuck agrees, saying that Anderson continued to act like himself.
“Just adjusting to the level”, Anderson said. He shared an emotional moment when he called his parents from Scranton to inform them of his promotion.
