Brock Lesnar’s UFC 200 Opponent Revealed
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar Brock Lesnar will make his UFC return at UFC 200 and his opponent has been confirmed. When he re-signed with WWE previous year, Lesnar said he was “officially closing the door on MMA”. That decision has haunted me for the last 15 months.

“I was brought back by UFC (public relations) and told by Dana White that I had to leave the arena, ” Helwani said.
However, as time passed Lesnar’s desire to fight again heightened, but he felt he was in a constant battle with his body. Shortly after it was announced that the former heavyweight champion would compete at UFC 200, WWE made it clear that Lesnar would be back in the squared circle sooner rather than later. Are you excited to first see Brock Lesnar return to the octagon on July 9?
Hunt (12-10-1) is coming off a walkoff KO win over Lesnar rival Frank Mir in the main event of UFC Brisbane in March.
During the UFC 199 broadcast, it was revealed that Lesnar would be returning at the next event.
The historic UFC 200 card is headlined by a light heavyweight title bout between champion Daniel Cormier and interim and former champ Jon Jones.
The 38-year old was a NCAA national champion before embarking on his first stint with the WWE which saw him turn into a huge star in the early 2000’s before leaving to pursue other ventures which included MMA.
A few weeks ago, Lesnar’s UFC bio mysteriously appeared on the company’s website under the current fighters section.
He hasn’t competed inside the octagon since 2011, a loss to Alistair Overeem at UFC 141. I couldn’t live with that decision for the rest of my life.

UFC spokesman Dave Sholler said the promotion believes that journalists should show professional courtesy by contacting the UFC for comment before reporting a story. “You should’ve gone and did that.’ I was on the biggest stage of all at UFC 100, so I might as well be on UFC 200”.
