The rapper was arrested, according to ABC7 in Chicago, after telling fans to rush past security and barricades and onto the stage.

One fan was also detained in the incident.

Stratton said that seven people were arrested, 43 were cited and 85 required emergency medical transport on the first day of the festival. She could not say what the arrests, citations and transports were for. The Twitter post said Scott played three songs.

A message left for Chicago police seeking additional information wasn’t returned Saturday night.

The rapper, whose real name is Jacques Webster, was arrested after allegedly calling on fans to jump the barricades, city and festival officials told E!

Below, watch crowd-shot footage of the chaos (which some have described as a riot), including a clip of Scott telling someone (presumably security personnel) to, “Stop fucking touching these Rangers, man!”

A Chicago Police Department spokesperson said on Sunday that Scott was issued a misdemeanor charge for reckless conduct and was released from custody after posting bail. “The situation was resolved quickly and no patrons were injured”.
