Jon Snow to star in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare didn’t exactly have the smoothest announcement, and until now we haven’t heard much else from Infinity Ward or Activision on the matter.

“Kit is an wonderful talent and the consummate pro”, said Infinity Ward narrative director Taylor Kurosaki in a press release, adding that Kit has immersed himself into the role of this story which is about a showdown between opposing forces. Stohl has also credited the director for bringing the Kit Harington’s villain to life.

Activision is continuing its tradition of bringing in big Hollywood actors to play the villain in its single-player campaigns, and their latest guest is Kit Harington of the HBO’s Game of Thrones.

Instead, Harington has signed on to play the main antagonist in the long running military based series where he’ll be the face of the SDF (Settlement Defense Front) in the new game.

“Our story is about an epic showdown of opposing forces and Kit immersed himself into the role and truly became the embodiment of the enemy, the Settlement Defense Front”.

To lend additional support to the production, Activision and Infinity Ward worked closely with director Guy, who is familiar with the Call of Duty franchise, having helmed the acclaimed live-action trailer “Surprise” for Call of Duty: Black Ops II.

We’ll be seeing more of the game at E3 this week, and hopefully learning more about player character Captain Reyes.
