Bobby Brown attends the 26th Annual Heroes and Legends Awards in Beverly Hills, Calif. In an interview with ABC News published online on June 6, 2016, Brown suggested a family friend is to blame for the deaths of ex-wife Whitney Houston and the couple’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown.

The My Prerogative singer was married to late icon Whitney from 1992 until 2007, and had a daughter – the late Bobbi Kristina – with her.
Brown, who is unsurprisingly in the process of promoting his tell-all autobiography, “Every Little Step”, was forthcoming about Houston’s drug habits, claiming, “She did drugs”. Toxicology reports showed that drugs were in her system, and she was taken off life support in July 2015.

Of involving Bobbi Kristina, Brown admitted, “We could have been better”.
While I’m sure most people who abstain from illegal drugs would be pretty horrified to see their bride hoovering down white powder on their wedding day, Brown accepted Whitney’s explanation that she was indulging because she was “nervous” and continue with the ceremony. “There was only one person that was around both occasions”. As the reporter noted in the video, Brown refused to say Gordon’s name.
Now that his daughter is gone, Brown believes she is with her mother. Cissy could, however, definitively say that she would have disapproved of her daughter being a lesbian.
He also addressed the tragedy and the death of his ex-wife Whitney Houston in the TV special. Gordon, who was raised by Houston, was Bobbi Kristina’s boyfriend. I didn’t particularly like her. She spoke disrespectful sometimes. “It only made me, you know, love and want to protect her more at the time”.
Gordon’s attorney, Jose Baez has hit back against Brown’s insinuating comments: “We have repeatedly said that Nick Gordon is innocent of any wrongdoing”.
