Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad, which is new to the smartphone market and is known for launching budget phones like Coolpad Dazen 1 and Dazen X7 has now come out with yet another mid-range smartphone. The phone was unveiled in China and has huge HD display of 5.5 inches.

The Dazen Note 3 was recently announced in China and the phone comes with a fingerprint scanner at its back with a 360-degree finger rotation capability.

The phone has a 13 MP rear snapper with LED flash and a 5 MP front camera. Both front and rear-facing cameras will feature a CMOS image sensor which provides better image quality. The Dazen Note 3 will be available in white and black color. Interestingly, the brand might add another gig to its RAM on the device thereby offering 3GB support, something which is unheard for a device at this price point.

The Dazen Note 3 is a dual SIM 4G LTE supporting handset and will be powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. “Dazen is a sub brand of Qiku, a joint venture between Worldwide internet giant Qihu 360 Technology and Coolpad Group”.

“Qiku will also launch its own 360 operating system in mid-August”, the company said in a statement.
