E3 2016: VAMPYR Trailer Released by Focus Home Interactive
Who can really tell with vampires these days?

As confirmed by Focus Home Interactive earlier this month, Vampyr by Life is odd developer is due for a showing at the upcoming E3 2016 in addition to seven other titles by FHI.
Considering the only thing that made me interested in Vampyr before was “it’s by Dontnod”, I’m now a lot more excited to see how it turns out. E3 announcements have certainly been riddled with leaks this year, with both of Microsoft’s consoles being leaked beforehand, along with several of its presentation announcements.
Announced at last year’s conference, Vampyr is the tale of Jonathan Reid, a noted scientist and surgeon who specialises in blood diseases during the 1918 Spanish flu epidemic in London, who is set upon and turned into a creature of the night.
The footage showed off brutal combat and bloody take-downs. The game mostly revolves around a progression system that affects the narrative – the more people you kill to satiate your bloodlust, the more different the story will become compared to players that opt for a more… peaceful route. It seems like players will have to do a lot of feeding if they hope to find a cure, though, so choices have to be made.
Vampyr will come to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC sometime in 2017.
