At a Miami concert on Saturday, SelGo broke down as she paid tribute to fellow singer Christina Grimmie while performing her song “Nobody”. “But it has become increasingly apparent to police from an examination of Loibl’s cell phone and computer records, that singer Christina Grimmie was murdered because of her outspoken Christian faith”.

This comes shortly after police identified Christina’s killer as Kevin James Loibl from St. Petersburg, Florida, who police believe travelled to the gig in Orlando with the intention of killing the 22-year-old singer.
Grimmie was signing autographs for her fans when she was shot, reports say.
Grimmie, who died early Saturday after being shot in Florida on Friday, started her early career winning over fans on YouTube and other online forums by singing music previously performed and written by other artists.
Christina’s brother, Mark Grimmie, then tackled the gunman to the ground. “Our hearts go out to the friends, fans and family”. She was intent on finding success on her own terms, writing songs that expressed her interests, “not just dancing and getting drunk and blah-blah-blah”, as she told Entertainment Weekly. “When she was 14, we met her and my parents and I signed her”, she revealed to the crowd with tears welling up in her eyes. Loibl killed himself. Grimmie, a budding vocal star and a popular contestant on NBC’s The Voice, was rushed to a hospital where she was pronounced dead. They are unarmed,”Chief John Mina said”.
Security measures are in place at The Plaza Live, police say, but there are no metal detectors and people are not patted down.
“Very heroic actions by Marcus Grimmie to jump in and it definitely could have prevented further loss of life”, said Mina.
