Clinton, Trump at odds over tackling terrorism, guns
The switch came a day after Mr Trump called for Ms Clinton to drop out of the race for president if she did not use the words “radical Islam” to describe the Florida nightclub massacre. It will be lifted, this ban, when as a nation we’re in a position to properly and perfectly screen these people coming into our country.

Trump also attacked his likely general election foe, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Trump said as president he will also oversee an improved intelligence gathering system, as well as better cooperation between government, local and state officials and our allies. “One’s on Mars and the other is on Jupiter”, Lee said. “And either one is unacceptable”. I’m not going to demonize and demagogue and declare war on an entire religion. “If the Federal Bureau of Investigation is watching you for suspected terrorist links, you shouldn’t be able to just go buy a gun with no questions asked”, she said to loud cheers.
But Clinton shot back, telling NBC: “Radical jihadism, radical Islamism, I think they mean the same thing”.
Clinton was measured in her r, balancing a call for tougher plans to combat the Islamic State group and heightened gun control measures, while at the same time issuing a plea for civility and acceptance of all Americans from all communities.
The Orlando attacks were the worst mass shooting in American history, leaving 49 people dead and dozens more injured. Police have said the gunman was armed with an assault-rifle-type weapon and a handgun that were purchased legally.
Trump is speaking shortly in New Hampshire.
Trump was originally scheduled to speak out against Hillary Clinton but changed the focus of the speech after the shootings.
“The threat is metastasizing”, Clinton said in a speech in Cleveland.
“He also falsely claimed that the perpetrator of the Orlando mass shooting was born outside the USA, though he was born in NY to parents from Afghanistan, while blasting Hillary Clinton for policies that he alleged would only increase the threat of terror”. How does this kind of immigration make our country better? A top US congressman said Mateen may have pledged allegiance to the Islamic State militant group, but USA officials cautioned they had no direct evidence of a connection. Obama said Monday that the Orlando attacker appeared to fall into that category.
Donald Trump, for the record, opposes same-sex marriage, flip-flopped on transgender people using restrooms, supports the First Amendment Defense Act (FADA), which hands anyone in the nation the “right” to discriminate against LGBT people.
Clinton also called for steps to prevent people who are on the United States no-fly list from purchasing guns and said possible restrictions on assault weapons needed to be part of the debate.
Hillary Clinton said the USA needs to prevent people who may pose a threat from obtaining “weapons of war”, in the wake of the Orlando nightclub shooting and other recent mass killings.
Trump’s longstanding proposal to temporarily ban foreign-born Muslims from entering the United States has triggered outrage from Democrats and Republicans alike, who see it unconstitutional, un-American and counterproductive. “I refuse to be politically correct”.
After being briefed by the FBI, President Obama delivered remarks the following morning, stressing that Mateen’s motivations had yet to be determined, according to The White House.
