For months, rumors have been rife that Microsoft is going to release different versions of an upgraded Xbox One console.
This would allow it to stand up vertically, unlike the original Xbox One. It was previously reported that unnamed sources from Microsoft was planning to launch a revamp version and 40 percent smaller than the current one, reported by Ars Technica. Others over at the NeoGAF forums suggest Microsoft found a way to move the Xbox One’s bulky power brick to inside the console itself-a surprising achievement, if true, given just how smaller the Xbox One S appears to be.
Shannon Loftis, Head of Microsoft Studios Publishing, discusses the Xbox games portfolio at the Xbox E3 2016 Briefing on Monday, June 13, 2016 in Los Angeles.
Alongside the image of the console, some specifications are also listed. The Xbox was the also center of a massive PR disaster thanks to a huge confusion regarding Microsoft’s policy which culminated into essentially it ceding control of all its major markets and now facing an insurmountable sales lead.
Halo Wars 2 has been eagerly awaited by fans since its announcement, and Microsoft gave us a bit more information on the game today. Details regarding the Xbox One S were also revealed, including a 2 TB hard drive. With a price tag of only $299 for the 500GB version, it’s a tempting device to be the centre of all your 4K home entertainment.

Another surprise announcement from Microsoft, was the sequel to the tense zombie survival game State of Decay. Since video games are becoming more and more advanced in recent times, a quite powerful console will be required to handle them efficiently. Since then, however, Xbox has been playing its cards close to its chest, not showing off more of the game.
