Prince Charles’ son was among guests to attend a reception at London’s Guildhall yesterday, where he spoke with Grenada High Commissioner Karl Hood after the stunning St Paul’s Cathedral thanksgiving service, reports Daily Mail.

One-year-old Princess Charlotte was widely expected to make her first balcony appearance with her parents, Prince William and his wife Kate.
This year’s Trooping of the Colour is rather special as it will be marking the Queen’s 90th birthday.
The Queen was accompanied in her horse-drawn carriage by 95-year-old Prince Philip, with Prince Harry, the Duchess Camilla and the Duchess of Cambridge traveling together in another carriage.
Royal commentator Richard Berthelsen told CTV News Channel that the lunch is focusing on grassroots organizations that the Queen supports through her royal patronage. The Queen was in fact born in April but June was chosen for formal celebrations as better weather is likely.
PRINCE Harry has said his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II deserves to “put her feet up” to mark her 90th birthday.
Her diamond Brigade of Guards brooch – appropriately chosen for the military spectacular – combined the badges of the five Household Regiments – the Grenadier, Coldstream, Scots, Irish and Welsh Guards.
The splendid Trooping the Color parade, which featured more than 1,500 soldiers and officers, also included a fly-by of historic World War II aircraft and modern fighter planes.
Three cheers rang out across The Mall for the Queen after she marked her 90th birthday with the traditional pomp and pageantry of the Trooping the Colour ceremony.
Thousands of people thronged the streets of the British capital for Saturday’s colorful military ceremony, between the Queen’s London residence, Buckingham Palace and Horse Guards Parade ground, nearby.
The colours, or flags, of the battalion are carried – in other words trooped – down the ranks.
Street parties will also be held in many towns and cities throughout Britain and in other Commonwealth countries.

During George II’s reign it was ordered in 1748 that the ceremony of Trooping the Colour should mark the official birthday of the sovereign. Both are very important to who we are as nations, and the relationship between the Royal family and the Imperial family is strong and vibrant.
