Dr. Dre has announced the release date and track list for the Straight Outta Compton soundtrack, titled Compton.

Last year the rapper sold the headphone maker and music-streaming service to Apple in a deal worth around £1.8 billion. “It’s an “inspired-by” album, it’s inspired by “Straight Outta Compton“.
In an interview to promote the N.W.A biopic, Grey was asked about these rumours, which he dismissed, but noted that it would be something that he’s interested in.
“It’s mega. It’s Dr Dre, it’s what everybody’s been waiting for”, said Ice Cube on the Rise & Grind Morning Show.
Fans of N.W.A. have shared their excitement for the upcoming movie across social media platforms since it was announced. Dre and Eminem confirmed that there was no such plan in consideration.
He has not released a solo studio album since the record 2001 was released in 1999.

Compton: A Soundtrack by Dr. Dre will be released on August. 7. The Warner Bros. film earned $14.9million over the weekend and $21.2 million since opening Wednesday. The announcements were also featured on Twitter. Now, they are more thrilled to learn of Dre’s new album which is a direct by-product of the Compton movie.
