Twitter in Regional Languages Now | Gujarati, Kannada, Marathi and Tamil
Also, with this move, Twitter is probably expecting big things from India as the numbers of users continue to grow in the country.

Social giant Twitter has announced that the microblogging site will be available in four new Indian languages, namely Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, and Tamil.
Hashtags in Hindi and a few South Indian languages have triggered a rush of tweets in the past.
Twitter now has created interfaces in four additional languages which include many innovative features of this popular social media site including searching for handles, looking up trending topics, etc, which can be done in these regional languages.
According to a post on Twitter’s official blog, “These four languages were partially translated by a passionate community of Twitter users via the Translation Center – we couldn’t have done it without their help”.
No additional settings are necessary to use Twitter in native language, in order the change the language, users have to select their choice from settings option in the drop down menu of the profile.

To recap, Twitter recently updates its app for iOS and also released a new Windows 10 app bringing in the live tiles, ability to upload multiple photos, support for animated GIFs, vine playback and sharing photos privately via Direct Messages. Twitter India’s head of communications, Rohan Vyavaharkar had this to say: ”At Twitter, our constant focus is to enhance user experience so that more and more people can use the platform and reap benefits from it”. Twitter India now has a user base of 22.2 million, according to market research company eMarketer.
