Heat Gets to British Soldier During Queen Elizabeth’s Birthday Celebration
Jacqui Bradburn, Chair of Colerne Parish Council said: “We are so pleased that two of our 90-year-old parishioners were able to present the children of Colerne Primary School with birthday medals”.

This past weekend brought yet another round of 90th birthday celebration for Queen Elizabeth II, as the royal family gathered on the balcony of Buckingham Palace for the annual “Trooping the Colour” military parade.
On Saturday it started with the Queen’s official birthday parade, the Coldstream Guards Trooping the Colour.
Britain’s longest-reigning monarch stepped out for her official birthday celebration this weekend (the special day was actually back in April) in her brightest look yet.
The internet noticed this and quickly jumped on it, with dozens of users Photoshopping the Queen’s new neon look. Thousands attended local picnics or street parties.
“I hope these happy celebrations will remind us of the many benefits that can flow when people come together for a common objective as families, friends or neighbors”, she stated.
Republic, an anti-monarchy group, promised to hold a picnic near the palace that they dubbed “people’s picnic”.
Members of the royal family greeted guests at the Patron’s Lunch, shaking hands for about 30 minutes while the queen gave a speech thanking visitors for their birthday wishes, the BBC reported. The queen and Prince Philip also drove by in an open-topped auto, waving to the crowd as some sang “Happy Birthday”.
“Rain won’t spoil the party”, said picnicker Noreen Chisholm.
Duchess Kate in Catherine Walker For the thanksgiving service at St Pauls Cathedral on Friday, Kate had a coat custom-made by one of her favourite designers Catherine Walker.
“Whatever is warm today, I will take”.
Junior school head girl Charlotte Reid said: “It was a privilege to be invited to this wonderful event that I will remember for ever and ever”.

The music was provided by the Band of Her Majesty’s Royal Marines Portsmouth, and the Band of the Queen’s Division and the Band of the Royal Corps of Signals.
