“The meeting went very well”, Fallin said in a statement.
Ducey will join a group of other Republican governors at Trump Tower in New York City, according to Daniel Scarpinato, a spokesman for the Arizona governor.
The Arizona Republic reports (http://bit.ly/1URIHKq) Trump is returning to Arizona on Saturday for a fundraiser and a rally at a yet-to-be-disclosed location.
After offering her support, she said she was honored to be in the discussion as Trump’s potential vice president candidate but had not been approached by the Trump campaign about it. Marco Rubio, R-Fla. Trump won Tennessee.
Speaking with Jay Marks, deputy communications director in Fallin’s office, said that he only found out today that Fallin would be meeting with Trump.

Fallin said she has not had time to consider the idea because her focus has been on working with the Legislature on the state budget and her other duties as governor.
