Adam Levine has offered to pay for Christina Grimmie’s funeral.

“She loved this town”, Marcus Grimmie told the crowd.

In response to the tragedy, Levine reached out to Grimmie’s mother and said he wanted to pay for all funeral arrangements. Christina was a beloved contestant on the show in 2014’s season six, making it to third place in the competition under coach Adam Levine, 36.

Once speeches were over, the gathered mourners bowed their heads as a bagpiper performed “Amazing Grace”, following which lights were switched off on the field and candles illuminated the scene in tribute to Christina Grimmie.

Christina was fatally shot Friday night while signing autographs for fans shortly after her Plaza Live concert in Orlando.

The singer’s manager, Brian Teefey, set up a GoFundMe account that’s already raised more than $140,000.

“Words can not express … literally I have no words”, said Marcus, who tackled the shooter to the ground after he opened fire. “It’s just that she had faith, and I don’t really understand how this really happened, but I would like to dedicate this next song to her”.

Loibl was quickly tackled to the ground by Grimmie’s brother before he turned the gun on himself.

Longo and Luebkemann said they believed that Grimmie was now in heaven, and that she was “more alive now than she is here”.

Christina Grimmie’s brother has given an emotional speech after his sister’s tragic death. “I’m so blown away by everything now”.

“Our hearts go out to her family”, he wrote.

Christina Grimmie was rushed to a hospital, where she died. The music community was completely shocked over this senseless act of violence towards a singer with a career on the rise.

Investigators say the 27-year-old, from the Floridian city of St Petersburg, was armed with two handguns, a large hunting knife and two magazine guns full of additional ammunition. I miss you Christina’.
