New Project Scorpio Xbox Revealed At E3 2016 By Microsoft
Other than the new version of the Xbox One, plenty of games were announced. In their eyes, having games released on the PC diminishes the value of the Xbox One and makes it not worth getting.

Of course, the video also details some of the specs of Project Scorpio, including its 6 teraflops of computing capabilities for 4k resolutions, 8 XPU Cores, a powerful graphics processor, rendering at 60 hertz, and more. If you weren’t at E3 or simply missed the press conference, you can re-watch it on IGN’s YouTube channel or see Microsoft’s highlights at the top of this article.
Spencer said “Right now we are not focused on a first-party VR hardware device”, adding that Microsoft hoped to “enable many hardware manufacturers to make progress there”. “As I mentioned earlier – especially among Xbox 360 players who have been thinking about upgrading – they now have the flawless path at the ideal timeframe”.
It turns out that – much like with Gears of War: Ultimate Edition – if you purchase Gears of War 4, you’ll get the complete Gears series for free via backward compatibility.
Microsoft showed off a bunch of new games via their ID@Xbox program at their conference. But it didn’t, and it came away stronger for it.
Initially codenamed as “Edmonton”, the Xbox One Slim was essentially kept under wraps.
The common consensus is that the move towards 4k gaming is a smart move on Microsoft’s part, giving studios the chance to build games that will take full advantage of the latest in TV and screen technology.
In this article we summarise Microsoft’s announcements at E3 2016. Microsoft’s Don Mattrick used phrases like “harmonizing your experiences” rather than “games”, and for his sins ended up at Zynga.
But Scorpio isn’t being positioned as a replacement for the Xbox One, but rather an extension of “the family”.
Sony has announced to reveal the PlayStation Neo.
A new Spider-Man game was also announced and it oozed with the web-slingers character coupled with some fantastic stunts and sharp visuals. Titles like Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, the sort of top-tier shooter that usually helps sell consoles by the millions, paled by comparison. But the games themselves will be identical.

Microsoft hasn’t dug itself a hole that it can’t escape. The newly released Xbox Play Anywhere programme lets gamers buy a game once and play it on both their Windows 10 PC and Xbox One console.

A gameplay trailer for a new God Of War game was shown, and a remastered version of Crash Bandicoot was announced.
